| Please*help. Orange colored bile in stool
I have been noticing a orange-red-yellow discharge with my stool every since April off & on. I had surgery (Ostamy reversal) in Feb due to diviticulitis so I don't know if this is part of the irregularity of stool Im suppose to have for a year or not. Its usually under the stool it looks like a orange oily discharge. Sometimes I think its blood and get scared but the stool is the regular color just flat (due to the surgery I now have flat or small stool). Do you guys think this is bile? Or mucus? Wouldn't the stool be red or black if I was bleeding? It stay at the bottom of the bowel too under the stool....wouldn't blood normally go to the surface or turn the water pink or red?? I had a barium lower GI in Jan before getting reversed in Feb. If I had cancer it looks like theyd seen it then.
