biliary dyskinesia - Digestive Disorders Message Board

Ok.. I went to the surgeon today. He told me I had "biliary dyskinesia"...no stones...so he is going ahead with the cholecystectomy...doing a lap. Now, he said there was no guarantee that this surgery would take care of my problem. Has anyone else heard this?

Been there! Got sick December 4, 2004, went to ER and was told that it was an allergic reaction, given benadryl and sent home. Took until January 27, 2005 to find out it was the gallbladder (no stones). I had every test under the sun more than once. I am still recovering from that disaster. However, I feel better than I did before it was removed.
