I think that everyone has their own system of when they have bowel movements. Accourding to my Gastro Dr. you should have a bowel movement at least 1 x day or every other day. That is what is best for your insides. But, some people only go 1 or 2 x week..
You need to either take Metamucil everyday all the time, or eat 1 - 2 prunes a day. Or some such other method. Lots of raw veges and fruits and whole wheat bread and cereals. Also, nuts.
If you are not careful, you will get so constipated that you will have trouble getting it to come out. Very painful. Plus, depending on how old you are, you could eventually develop a prolapsed rectal "parts". What ever that is called. :>
Take care and get something to make you more regular.
