 stinky stools?
hi,
i've been battling mono for the last few months, the feverish feelings are starting to finally subside a bit, still get em but the intervals between flare ups are spreading further apart slowly as time goes on thank god. My tonsils are still inflamed a bit with whitish spots that smell aweful, which is worrying me. At any rate, i've quit smoking cigarrettes, quit drinking coffee and soda almost entirely, also eating healthier... at one point i swore i had candidiasis but got two cultures and both negative. i'm still feeling the fatigue and bouts of depression that go along with mono...
My number 2's are very stinky tho. They smell putrid (eek! but they do), they are pretty soft also. I thought that this was a result of taking a couple cycles of antibiotics but now i've been off them for a couple weeks now and still no change.
Is this a result of Mono? Will it go away on its own?
Should i be doing some sort of intestinal cleansing?
