Question RAW STOMACH

This is the only way to describe it! Raw, sick stomach. I get this occasionally obviously, when I havn't been good to my stomach. It feels like my stomach lining is raw and inflammed and it takes a a good 2 days to pretty much not eat anything to feel better. I have been taking Pantaloc for about 6 weeks straight and it has helped alot with heartburn, but I guess the hiatus hernia will always be there and I'll have to watch what I eat. Does anyone experience this raw stomach feeling?

You should get tested for food allergies. THat was the cause of my swollen stomach, shortness of breath and gerd.

I took allergy tests too and came up with nothing. I was diagnosed with Eosinophilic Gastritis. Something with white blood cells cause scratches down lining of stomach and causes that raw feeling. It can be real painful. I just got switched from Zantac to Axiphus (I think this is how it's spelled)and it is one pill in morning and for the past tow days not even a twinge from my stomach. I haven't had a day like these in years. I hope it lasts. My problem is worst without eating. No food to cushion acid in there and it is so painful. Makes you nausious and weak. Doctors say this condition is rare but if I were you, I'd ask the questions. The only way they'd be able to know you have it is endoscopy and blood test. Happy holidays all and I hope we all have comfort and peace of the holidays.
