 Alcohol and Stomachache/Diarrhea
Hi,
Can people be allergic to alcohol?
My wife and I went out for a drink with our son and his girlfriend. We had only out for about an hour and as far as I could tell, she had only had a glass of wine and possibly one short. My son said that they would have to leave as his girlfriend was not feeling well.
When I spoke to my son the next day, he said that his girlfriend had complained of a headache, had a severe belly ache and had been in the bathroom for about a good half an hour because of her diarrhea.
My son said that this had happened a couple of times before and it was usually after about as little as one to two drinks.
Anyone know anything about this. Is it likely to be something in the booze that is cause these problems and what can be done about it?
