Unidentifiable Artifacts
I had my gall bladder out in April. I feel almost as if I miss it. It's like there is a hole in my stomach, like I can tell it's gone. Very strange.
Anyway, I had felt a lump when squatting back in Feb, had ALOT going on so I didn't get to the Dr until mid March. Sent for ultrasound. NP calls me and said "you have a mass on your liver.. and unidentifiable artifacts around your gall bladder" yand she also said over the phone.. "I didn't expect that at all..."
So, next I go for a CT scan then see a gastroenterologist who sends me to an oncology surgeon. Both doc's were pretty sure it wasn't cancer (it wasn't!) but a liver hemangioma, but they also said that whenever the liver is operated on, they have to take the gall bladder out.
Has anyone else ever heard this before, or had a similar surgery?
P.S. they never told me what the unidentifiable artifacts were..... but they did mention adhesions on the liver
P.S.S my scar is 11 inches long, doc said the tumor was in a different place than what showed on the CT scan
