HELP!!! - Digestive Disorders Message Board

I am a 33 year old female. For the last two weeks I have had the feeling of something caught in my throat. My stomach feels unsettled as well. If I eat anything remotely solid like apple sauce, it make my throat feel like there is something stuck in it and it make the pain in the sternum and right side hurt. My stomach does a great deal of churning and I have heart palpitations. My barium swallow, blood work and urinalysis came back normal. I have a scope scheduled for Thursday. I am really worried because I am not eating for fear that it will hurt.

you really need to get this checked out the old primary care dr i had checked me out for everything except digestive problems then the dr i changed to say it sounded like i had an ulcer and a few weeks later i wond up in the hospital in intensive care with a errosive esophugus an ulcer in my stomach and duodenum and a high hernia and a narrowed esophugus .swolling problems are nothing to laugh about or abdominal pain it sounds like you may have a high hernia or some problems with your esophugus please take care and let me know how your endoscopy turns out.my throat was so errosive im on a soft diet and i have to get regular biopsies done on my throat.please feel free to email me. take care tmm35
