| Endoscopy & cause of pancreatitis
Hi all I met with gastroenterologist this morning. He went over the Ultrasound and CT scan of the abdomen.
First, he asked if they ever determined the cause of the pancreatitis and the pseudocyst. Alcohol was ruled out. He said the cause MAY have been from triglycerides. I did have elevated cholesterol and triglycerides but don't recall the numbers. So maybe that is cause. But he scheduled and endoscopy for June 30th. So will see what happends.
But he also said the pseudocyst was rather large it was 11 cm in size. Not sure how big that is but sounds like a large cyst.
After the above is done we will see what treatment is required if the cyst does not go away.
Any advise or opinions on the procudure and the size of the cyst.
