I am on prevacid for acid reflux...dose is 30mg 2times a day....the ususal dose is once a day....anyone else on more than 30mg once a day...just curious if this is too much thanks

My wife take it twice daily but not all the time. I think when you first start ---some Doctors think it's probably the right dose but normaly it's given once daily and I think that's what the manufacturer recommends. You could ask your druggist???

I take it twice a day too, but my insurance will only cover a Rx for 30 pills so I have to pay $30 copays twice a month, even though the doctor wrote it out to take 1 capsule BID...they won't do it.

You're not alone. I do it when I get flareups, but not all the time.
