I had serious problemsfor a long time with nausea, vomiting, holding food down after eating and GERD. After going through countless tests, hospitals, doctors, lab tests and expensive prescriptions most of this stopped immediately when I weent to a health food store and was told that a major underdiagnosed problem is YEAST
(candidiasis). I bought a bottle of Caprylic Acid known simply as Capryl and received almost instant relief. I had been tested for h pylori and everything imaginable, the food allergy wouldn't stop until I started taking the Caprylic Acid. I bought a bottle of 100 for under $11. Doctors aren't diagnosing this problem of Yeast/Candidiasis. The excess mucosal secretions also stopped. (I thought it was allergy as I live in an area prone to that). I learned that Yeast is connected with the so-called Leaky Gut Syndrome.

tell me more I've had belly problems since age 2 and I've had no relief ever w/ any product. You can buy this at the health food store? How long have you been suffering? Diane

Yes, you can buy Caprylic Acid at most Health Food Stores.

Wouldn't the candida bacteria show up if one has an endoscopy done with a biopsy for h.pylori and other bacteria?
I'm just trying to decide if this Capryl is worth trying for myself. From what I've looked up, it's just a high dose of calcium, magnesium, and zinc. No?
