Hi everyone. I posted this along with other things on the General Disscusion board but I decided to put my stomach symptoms here to see if anyone has any advice.
My stomach has been hurting me very bad. The pain is about one inch under my belly button and goes down about 4 inches and out to each side about 4 inches. The pain feels like a stabbing pain, it literaly feels like someone jabbed a knife in me and is twisting it!It hurts very bad almost everytime i eat and this started about 9 months ago. Sometimes it will hurt alot less for 1 to 3 weeks then all a sudden it starts hurting again almost everytime i eat. Now it has got so bad that it sometimes hurts even when i dont eat. And this sounds gross but the only way it starts to fell better at all is it i go to the bathroom. That helps but then a few hours later it will hurt again And my stools are bright yellow (please dont be grossed out by me saying that) and there is this flat sting stuff in it. I hope it's not worms or part of my intestines! Im always sooooo bloated, i weigh 130 pounds but my stomach gets so big when i eat and i will look 5 to 6 months pregnant, it will be so bloated i cant even see my feet but if i dont eat for a day or 2 it's almost flat. I am also very tired all the time and weak, i feel like im 90 years old. I sleep at least 12 hours a night sometimes up to 18 hours a night.
Does anyone have any idea of what could be wrong with me or know of anything i should ask my doctor or any tests i should ask to have done??? I'm open to any suggestions.
Wow, you have a lot of symptoms and have been dealing with it for quite a while! Have you seen a doctor at all? Anytime you have ongoing stomach pain like that you should at least talk to your doc! It sounds like you should probably have some tests done to at least rule out anything serious. Maybe have some stool studies done, and possibly some xrays/CT scan, or maybe a colonoscopy or endoscopy. Please Please Please see your doctor, and keep us informed!
I did see doctor and she did a urine test but all she said was i have protein, blood, and bacteria in my urine. She didn't say why or what kind of bacteria it was. She also did some blood work for my kidneys, blood sugar, thyroid, liver, CBC (complete blood count) pancrease, and H. pylori (stomach bacteria that causes ulcers). All the blood work came back normal.
I've been doing research for months and months and the only things i think it could be are Gastritis, Gastroparesis, a food allergy (maybe yeast or wheat), or ovrian cancer
Go to a Gastroenterologist if you can. If you are in that much pain you need more than just blood and urine test imo. Or find another doctor that is an internist. I would worry about a doctor that tells you that you have blood and bacteria in your urine but doesn't say why or what it could be.

'Hepatitis" doesn't that kill you? They didn't check me for hepatitis but when they did my blood work, they checked my liver and it was fine. Doesn't hepatitis have something to do with your liver? Also i think hepatitis only gives you mild stomach pains not severe pain. I did get shots for that when i was about 17 or something but i dont remmber what strain they were for, all i know is there was 3 in the series but i missed the last one in the series cause my issurance stopped. I had to get the shots for it because its law or something here in NY for all college students. I wish i knew what hepatitis the shots were for, i dont know if the shots were for A, B, C, or D.
