Most ulcers, something over 90%, are now believed to be casued by a bacterium called H Pylori. Fruit can cause acidity but only temporarily ie unlikely to cause any permanent damage.

Most fruit except plums and dried fruit that I know about even citrus are not acid producers but are alkaline producing food.

And, Samuelemouse is right most peptic ulcers are caused by H.pylori bacteria.

One of the first things on the list that is given to avoid acid reflux is citrus. Nothing said a bout other fruit but all web sites on Gerd as well as what Doctors have given me have it on. Also, coffee, chocolate, fried foods, and tomatoes based foods and sauces.

I think the fruit issue could be broken down into types of fiber and sugar content.
Some fruit fiber slows the gut down.
Other types help usher the digestive process right along.
Additionaly the consideration of sugar content is important in the whoel digestive process too.
I recently had an interesting conversation about potatos with someone.
The standard potato is much less digestable than the sweet potato even though the white potato might seem like the wiser choice where sugar are concerned.
But each potato differs in what it does once it enters the body and for people who need to watch their blood sugars the sweet potato is actually more preferable than the starchy white potato.
Now I know I've jumped from fruit to vegetables here but I thought the example of the potato was rather interesting and could possibly hold true for the fruits too.
