Question Belching and lump in throat

Hello, I have been having stomach problems for the past 10 months. I had my gallbladder out about 5 weeks ago and even though the pain I had has almost gone away I am still left with other problems. Even before the gallbladder problem I was having indigestion, I have it all the time, after I eat, when I bend, sleep etc. I basically burped all the time but it was no big deal. Problem is now I seem to have a lump in my throat almost all the time. I have started taking Prilosec 3 days ago but so far no effect. Funny thing is even though I get indigestion (burping) I haven't noticed any acid coming up (it did in the beginning about 10 months ago for about 2 weeks, then haven't noticed any acid indigestion). I'm at my wits end and don't know what to do (doctor won't see me for another 4 weeks).
