IBS maybe?
I am 28 years old. I first started noticing symptoms for a few years around 18-20. I had started working out around 18, and soon after, development diarea after every meal. I kind of just ignored it for a year or so, and eventually moved and had to quit working out. Of course, the diarea after meals stopped, and my stomach felt fine most of the time. Though, I will still getting it a few times a week. I eventually figured out that if I ate less during my meals, I would not get diarea at all..
That was 8 years ago. And since then have only had to deal with these symptoms about once a month or so. Which is probably less then a person with a normal stomach has to deal with them. Symptoms are slight rumbling in the intestines after eating a meal, slight cramps, then me running off to the bathroom minutes later. After the bathroom visit I feel perfectly fine and bact to normal.
Though, the past 2 weeks I have had to deal with them on a daily bases. It's not to severe, just diarea after most of my meals (rumbling stomach minutes after eating). Knowing my past experiences, this is just a bad 2 weeks, and I will return to normal shortly.
Do these symptoms sound like IBS? I am able to live fairly symptom free by eating smaller meals. And I have done this for so many years, that I think my stomach has grown accustomed to eating these smaller meals.
