Tounge sores due to acid reflux?
Hi, yesterday i noticed two fairly large sores at the back of my tounge. At first I had no clue what they could be, but when i thought about it the sores were aligned almost perfectly on each side of the tounge while there was nothing where the epiglottis is so i figure when the tounge folds back its exposed to the acid. Consequently these sores I believe have made my sense of taste all out of wack and I have a sensation like I burned my tounge even though I reall haven't. Funny thing is i just got prescribed nexium the day before and didn't have the sores thus couldn't ask the ENT about it (I had previously taken aciphex several months ago, but unfortunately my acid reflux prob had flared up again)....so in short has anyone heard of the possibility of getting sores from acid reflux? Thanks.
