Hey everyone, some of you remember me no doubt, I posted here on and off for 2 years. Left sided abdominal pain under the last rib, like many other people. After 2 years I started getting pain in the LEFT shoulder a lot.
Well, I had my gallbladder out a month ago. They finally found it wasn't functioning well (19%) and pulled it. They also did exploratory inspection of the left side while they were in there and everything looked OK. Gallbladder failure didn't show up at all until I had a double hidascan test. They couldn't find anything wrong anywhere until then, and I had most tests you can imagine performed. I tried every supplement I could find too.
Here's the result - pain is almost completely relieved after 1 month. I still get a little pressure when the intestines are full of gas or something, but it's so much better. It can take a year for the body to adjust (per my DR), so I'm very excited about this so far. Some encouragement for those of you who don't know what it is - that could VERY VERY likely be the gallbladder and referred pain to the wrong side. Have that test run. You never know.
2 years of suffering, OVER! Woo hoo! God bless you all as He has blessed me!
