Post Gaining weight with Proton pump inhibitors...

Ever since being put on Lanzaprozol (30mg) I seem to be about a half to three quarters of a stone heavier, and though I eat sensibly (probably less than before) and excercize regularly (long walks with my 22lb daughter in a carrier on my back, I simply can't seem to shift it. Indeed I seem to fluctuate sometimes by maybe a quarter of a stone over a couple of days.
Anyone else have this happen to them? My doctor says it's just my age (late thirties), but I don;t know.
