are digestive enzymes helpful for digestive disorders?

has anyone used them and seen great results?

i think it depends on what digestive disorder you have. if you don't have enough enzymes they should work i think. i've been having digestive problems for about 3 years now and tried everything i could get my hands on including digestive enzymes (lots of different ones). however didn't notice any difference. sometimes it seemd they work but i think that was more like placebo effect, knowing that i took them made me feel sort of better. however they're not harmful so you can just try and see if they work for you.

I found that you need to take quite a few capsules with each meal for them to work. Now I use Swedish Bitters most of the time and it works the best for me. I take a teaspoon of it in an ounce of water right before I eat, 3 times a day, and sometimes before bed, too. Strong taste but it really stops the pain.
