 Upper abdominal pain...help?
I was wondering if anyone could help me out....
Last night I had severe upper abdominal pain (right below the sternum) that radiated to my back...right across the middle of it. It started slowly around 5pm and slowly got worse and worse. i hadn't eaen much all day and when I did eat it didn't seem to affect the pain at all. I did not feel sick in any other way. The pain lasted until I woke up the next day. I had this problem once before about 2 months ago. I attributed it to overeating on memorial day. The pain was much worse the first time, but it was still unbearable this time around as well.
anyone have any insight? I went to the Dr. the first time and he just told me I had caught a virus or something. I don't have health insurance so I don't go to see the Dr. very often.
