Repeat of Fundoplication - scared !please advise - Digestive Disorders Message Board

Hi Everyone Im new, from London UK. Following intermitant but somtimes severe symptoms of discomfort/indegestion/reflux etc I have been told that my wrap has failed after 6 years and fundoplication should be repeated...Ive been told that its obviously not as easy the 2nd time - im scared about post op actually being worse/new problems etc...can anyone advise/reassure who has had a repeat...any help much appreciated.

Hi lee. Sorry I cannot provide any advice since I've only had my fundo for 2 years and have not had to have it repeated. I'd recommend doing some internet searches for repeat fundo information, and I'm sure someone here will also post their story to help you too.
