Pain where appendix was? - Digestive Disorders Message Board

I had my appendix taken out 30 years ago and I have a dull pain in that general area. More of a annoyance than a pain. I tried laxatives and it has not subsided. No bulges or knots. Don't have a clue?

I have that same "ache" from time to time. I had mine out in 1994. My drs. say it's probably from adhesions pulling and tugging on other organs. I also have had a lot of trouble with ovarian cysts and had many surgeries for that so I have a lot of adhesions. They tell me that's what the pain is from. Could be the same for you. I hope you find out what it is and can get it taken care of relatively simply.
