 Pain in Right Side - Suggestions?
I have been having stomach pains for months now. After the GI doc gave me Protonix for ulcer, Bentyl for IBS and I am taking Metamucil wafers; I am still having pain in my right side under ribs. I do not know what this is or if I should bother calling him again. I have this nearly all the time. When I eat, my stomach hurts. It hurts for a few hours. I am not having the lower cramps or loose stools now. Nor am I having the bad pain below breastbone. But, this pain in my stomach and right side is not going away. I have had ultrasounds of right kidney. It is OK. I have experienced pain in the right side in the back for a year. Though kidney, but nothing found. I do not have a gallbladder. It was taken out 2 years ago. Any ideas?
