Unhappy severe stomach ache

Can someone please help me.About 3 weeks ago I had my gallbladder removed.everything went fine and I have felt so much better since, but last nite I had the worse somach ache ever.It was so severe I thought I was going to have to go to the hospital. It was in my upper ab.I vomited yellow bile for about 3 hours.I finally took 2 pain pills and it was relieved after about 6 hours. The pain came in waves like contractions. Can this be pancreatitis.

Yes, everything I've read about pancreatitis says you do have a terrible stomach ache followed by throwing up bile. Usually the pain is either in the middle of the stomach or toward the upper left side. It could be either chronic or could've been an acute attack. You should get an ultrasound and a CT scan just to be sure. I've been going through the same thing for weeks now, having terrible stomach aches followed by a painful sensation in the upper left side of my stomach, with nausea but no vomiting. Ask your doctor to order some tests. Good luck.
