 Zelnorm for GERD?
I have GERD or something like it. I have acid reflux as well. My main problme however is that my stomach doesn't empty right (or something like that) and bile backs up in my stomach, making me very sick. My doctor once described it to me as that instead of just my esophgus refluxing, my entire GI track does. Anyway I'm currently on Reglan for mobility. I hate it. I was alarmed to find that if you experience twitching you need to get off the medicine right away... but I've been twitching and on reglan for over 4 years. I won't even go into the list of awful side effects but let's just say 90% of the time I go to the doctor the problem is diagnosed as a side effect of the medicine.
Anyway, on another reglan post someone mentioned Zelnorm as a replacement. I couldn't find any info on it but now they're having comercials and all. If I stop Reglan I get very sick and was wondering if Zelnorm would be a possible replacement?
