Post feels like digestion in groin

hey all. I am really concerned that I have a hernia even though nothing is bulging out. I have had constant pain in my left/groin and upper quads of my left leg. All my doctor has done is an Xray and the pain is getting worse and worse. Anyhow, eventually after the pain first started, several months later it feels like fluid or something is digesting in my groin? Could this feeling be from the fact that I may have a hernia where my intestines got pushed down into that area? I can't take this pain anymore; it's not the fact that it is severe, but the fact that it is constant and is worse when I sit down. Further more everything has been twitching around that area and it has spread to throughout my body. But I dont know what else could be causing the pain. It has put me into an anxiety state in my life. I can't even work out anymore cause I get so exhausted and out of breath. I'm concerned that maybe I have a strangulated hernia though nothing is bulging. Also, I had major surgery when I was very young and had an incision down my abdomen so mine may be weaker than others. Does this sound like hernia to anyone. Do they always necessarily have to bulge out?

I had a small hernia once and when the doc put his finger down there, I about jumped through the roof. I couldn't visually see a bulge but the doc siad that i had a small hernia that should heal on it's on. I guess it would be considered a bulge because he described it as the intestine breaking through some barrier which is what caused the pain. The intestine should go bacj in and the tear would heal. If not, then you would have surgery. My brother had one that required surgery and I could swear that his didn't bulge. I was giving a pain killer to see if it would heal on it's on and it did. The pain for me wasn't excruciating, just constant and annoying unless I did something physically the wrong way, then it would send a sharp jolt of pain through me.

I don't remember how his was found. He was around 10 years old when it was found. I will ask my mother and get back to you. I do sort of remember that he had some sort of fluid build up but i will need to ask by mother to get all the details.
