Post Ulcer?

I can't eat much lately without feeling sick to my stomach, feeling bloated, gas-y, and an overall blah feeling. It will go away a few hours AFTER I've eaten, but I just feel miserable until then.

On top of that, I suffer from some anxiety, so of COURSE, when these symptoms come up, I feel terrible overall because I freak out, have a panic attack and feel even worse.

I am new to my area and also need advice on finding a doctor to go to. I'm feeling desperate for some help, so I'm considering the emergency room.

I was told that my issues are gerd and ibs. I live in Michigan also(closer to Flint) and am haveing a horrible time finding a doctor that will help me and not blow off my problems to stress. Im now going to #5 and hopeing she will be some sort of help.

BlueEyezzMel are you on any meds for your panic attacks?I do know from personal experience that gerd can bring on a panic attack.I used to get panic attacks quite often, but i havent had any for awhile.I have noticed that im more prone to have an attack when im having the symptomds of gerd.Which makes you panic even more.Which makes the panic even worse.

Can't really say whether or not you may have ulcers. I have learned since my problems started that digestive problems have too many of the same symptoms. You have to see a doctor to sort through the various conditions of what you might have and in some cases you won't find out what is causing your problem. That is when the stress dx gets thrown at you.

I have suffered from anxiety problems before and I know for a fact that anxiety can cause a lot of hurting in your stomach area. Hopefully anxiety is your only problem and you have many options on controlling the anxiety: therapy, drugs, self help books, ...

Good luck!
