hi all, My gastro has tryed me on every med out there for gerd and they all make me feel worse! the burning and large amounts of mucus get so bad i end up in bed crting in pain. i've read so many posts from you guys doing so well on all these different meds. is there anyone who can't tolerate them like me? what can i do? i'm eating tums like a mad woman. ANYTHING i eat causes my stomach to burn and i'm loosing too much weight.
i'm trying to get in to see a new gastro,but any ideas to help me out would be great.

Gee betty i dont know what to tell you.I have acid reflux and tums never helped me at all.Have you tried otc gaviscon?It was the only otc drug i was allowed to use when i was pregnant
