Thumbs down h. pylori

I've just had blood test results for this back and it said no antibodies. If this means I haven't got it then why was my Doc so certain I had. Could a blood test miss it?

The blood test is about 80-90% accurate if I remember correctly.

I had a blood test come up negative as well, and just went in for an endoscopy. The Dr. took a biopsy to check for certain so we'll see if I'm one of the 10-20% of people who show up negative for the antibodies but still have it.
