Post Still feeling bad

Dr. thought I have acid reflux--no scope done yet though. I started with pepcid 40mg 2x day, and now am taking protonix instead 1x day. Reflux is better, but I still feel like cardboard is in my back??? upper back feels spasms when I eat like when you drink water too fast. Swallowing is much better. I can even take pills with water now which I couldn't before because I felt like they were stuck. Have cut out all the usual bad foods. Anyone else feel this way???? Fish

Thanks for your reply. This is the pits. I feel like there is dripping, motion down my back a lot. Why is it in my back instead of in my chest like most people with this problem? I think I feel a fullness in my throat too. I don't even know what I feel anymore! I cut out all my favorite things like chocolate and coffee and don't see a difference. I guess I'll have to go for a scope. My doctor wanted me to wait 5 weeks until this new medicine kicked in. Fish

Nothing has helped except for drinking milk. It really works. Prevacid didn't do nothing for me. Surprising how milk did me a lot of relief.

I get sharp pain in my lower back at least a few times a week. From what i have gathered gerd can have many different symptoms. Im not getting horrid pain in my left pelvic region. I went to the new doc yesterday and she tried to put me on zelnorm. I refuse to take it. I think a scope it the best thing to do next. I was so scared but it really it a breeze and after i had it done it put my mind at ease knowing my tummy isnt getting a hole in it from all the acid i felt. I gave up on the drugs, i am now going the herb and mineral way hopeing it will work.
