I have a rather strange problem, and was wondering if anyone shared it. I can't eat anything sweet. If i do i get realli bad breath, as soon as i do i get this taste in my mouth, like the back of my tongue. it's realli bad, i always stay away from cakes, cocktails, softdrinks it's horrible. i got an appointment for a gastronomy so ill see wat happens. but would love some feedback from anyone with the same problem.
I also get very gasey and bloated. I burp a lot more these days then i did a year ago. would appreciate any feedback!!
you might be allergic to yeast. i used to have the same problems until my food allergy testing came back. sugar thrives on yeast and sometimes causes gasto distress. i have eliminated yeast totally and now can eat sugar on occassion. obviously i stay clear of cakes, donuts, even pretzels have yeast in them. the yeast was my problem not the sugar.
I hope you can help me.
I been having all kind of symptoms , abdominal pain, stomach just not feeling good at all, so my doctor had me to take the endoscopy and the colonoscopy to see what it was, the colonoscopy was normal ,but the endoscopy show that I had a mild distal esophagitis with small areas of whitish exudates suspicious for Candida esophagitis, mild gastritis, and a small hiatal hernia, the doctor took some biopsies and the biopsies came back and I got a report of my biopsy test and it was..
Benign squamous and glandular cells
Fungal hyphae associated with Candida.
I asked the doctor what it was and he said it was a yeast, and that is all he said.
and to come back in four months.
Thank you for any help ,I do not know a thing about the yeast thing.
I have never heard of it until the doctor told me that my endoscope show it.
Thank you for any reply.

As IC said-- yeast including Candida feed on sweets--- and really thrive. Since many types of yeast strains are normal in the GI tract--- it is not easily tested for--- many doctors just don't treat it.
To get the friendly bacteria back in normal balance -- you have to eliminate sugary food from your diet including simple carbs that turn to sugar in your mouth for some period of time
It may be necessary to go on an Anti-Candida diet, eat yogurt that contain some other of good beneficial culture strains and take 1 or several probiotic supplements daily until you get your gastro-system back in balance.
As you may know -- your Gastro system begin in your mouth.
