My condition hasn't been officially diagnosed yet, but I have a history of gallstones and a recent ultrasound showed that my bile ducts were enlarged.

My symptoms started with a bad taste in the mouth and loss of apetite. That progressed to constipation (I also had 1 week of having yellow diarrhea), and stomach pain. Then I got severe GERD symptoms, especially chest pain. It's only in the last 2 weeks that I have really been able to pinpoint the gallbladder as my source of pain. Just this past week I discovered I can no longer tolerate ANY fat in my diet. When I get an "attack" my whole right side feels bruised and swollen. I drink gatorade on the days my stomach hurts too bad to eat. I have been unable to eat much and hence have lost a lot of weight.

I have a HIDA scan in a week and I can hardly wait. With as miserable as I am I will be begging them to yank my gallbladder out. I keep daydreaming about cheeseburgers and pizza, yum, LOL.

Yes I was dreaming of all that food too I had to wait for 6 weeks and just had my first pizza sat.I had to sit and watch all my family eat all that good food and it was not fun because I had to cook it.
