Just curious if anyone else has this type of pain. Its a slight pain, just enough to be noticable..... located in my high upper chest, between my collar bone and the very top of my breast. Its almost always on the right side, ocassionally on the left. Its never a crushing, burning or radiating pain. It isnt effected by exertion, or deep breaths. For quite some time, I have also had very loose, mustard colored stool, with LOTS of gas. I briefly saw a triage nurse and told her about this, at my recent OB/GYN appointment. She has scheduled me a doc appt for Tuesday. Im worried sick because im scared this is my heart, although she told me she didnt believe it was, but that sometimes gall bladder can mimic heart probs and vice versa. My main reason for the worry is because im basically obese and have smoked for years (just quit about 4 months ago) I intentionally went 24 hrs without eating and didnt have one single twinge. This pain is very livable, not intense or bad at all...... its just scaring me. ANy ideas are appreciated, even if you just want to reply to let me know you have the symptoms too. Thanks

Sounds like gallbladder to me.

I am dealing with the chest pain, too. Actually my symptoms mimic GERD and IBS, I finally knew it was my gallbladder when I woke up with pain on the right side (I have a past history of gallstones).

Good luck!!!! I swear if I didn't TELL my doctor that I had a history of gallbladder problems they would be treating me for reflux.

An ultrasound revealed my bile duct was enlarged, but no stones. I am havin a HIDA scan on the 27th.

tightening in my throat.... kinda like when youre about to cry but are trying not to....... add this to my list of symptoms........ arg!!

SnOwflake,you might want to be checked for gerd,as it can cause the problems you speak of.

thanks for the info..... i think its acid reflux or gall bladder..... or both LOL Went to see doc today, but instead the doc wasnt there and i saw another nurse. (free clinics are the worst sometimes) Told the nurse about my symptoms and her reply was "well, you know where the emergency room is, go there if it gets bad." ...... golly, why didnt i think of that ?! LOL

Anyhoo..... Im kinda thinking that i have acid reflux, possibly in combination with a really touchy gallbladder..... Can anyone suggest the best OTC med for the reflux, and maybe suggest something herbal or dietary for the gall bladder? Thanks guys and gals!
