I just saw a commercial for a Dannon yogurt product called Activia. They say it helps with digestion, and that's because of probiotics. I guess its some sort of active culture. Anyone know about this, or have any experiences with probiotics for digestive problems?
I understand on the IBS board some are having success with this if they do not have dairly sensitive issues. It just takes a little time to kick in. If you don't have issues with dairy you could give it a try?
I think you need to investigate Diestive Enzymes to help digestion.
But, I am a big believer in eating yogurt , Kefir and taking probiotic supplements-- I like Sionyfield Farm yogurt, Helios Kefir and Pearls. Culturlle and PB-8 probiotic supplements.
Dannon Activia is used a bowel regulator and it works if taken regularly with a normal diet of fruits, veggies and other normal food.
