Burping issue

Hi. For years now i have been having some pain in my chest associated with drinking carbonated beverages and i cannot physically burp to get rid of it. It feels like i am bloated and cannot drink anymore and it is quite annoying. I feel like i have to burp however all that happens is i get these little rumbles halfway up my esophagus that do not help at all. I swallow more frequenlty which in turn makes me feel worse. Is there a way that i can burp toget it out or any other method?

Re: Burping issue

Well, first off stop drinking carbonated anything. Obviously you have a problem when you drink them. If you don't have a problem other times then you already have your solution. If you do then you need to either take something for acid reduction, Pepto or gas pills. Don't try and drink carbonated stuff and then take something to correct it. You may had a hiatal hernia in the esophagous that traps the gas. Very common but you do have to eliminate some things.
