Question :( smelly flatulence issues :( PLEASE HELP!

Im 19, female weigh 65kg, for about a month now ive been suffering from excessive, really smelly flatulence, its not like the usual 'fart smell' though its more like a sort of stale, rotten smell....its really bad and gotten to the point where the smell lodges itself into my sheets at night (im blushing while writing this, its so embarassing) and i avoid social occaisions becauase of it.

I do have lots of fruit, vegis, whole grains in my diet which i hear can cause flatulence but i dont want to have to cut them out because, obviously they're good for my health etc.

Does anyone know any ways apart from major dietry changes that can cure excessive, particularly smelly flatulence problems?

please help...

kakapo,

Several things can cause smelling gas--one is eating too much sugary food along with meaty food that is not easy to digest -- It upsets your digestion causing putrification bacteria that really smells.
Eat regular food separate from the time you consume sweets or deserts.

A thing that helps is to eat dark green leafy veggies that contain chlorophyll. It will help de-odorize your stool.

You can buy online or at a health food store -- wheat grass & barley grass juice concentrate in liquid, powder or tablets also alfalfa leaf concentrates.
I found that I just don't eat alot of dark green veggies --- So, I use Green Food tablets from a health food store with meals as a food supplement.

I wish you well~~~Harry
