Just wondering if anyone has tried Stemetil for nausea and vomiting. I have been overloaded with stress for months and have nausea and vomiting almost every morning and sometimes at other times. I'm going for an upper GI series soon, but am not sure I'll be able to handle that test on an empty stomach. Pretty sure it's just stress. However, my doctor has given a prescription for Stemetil and I'm just wondering if anyone else has tried it and how it has worked for you. Thanks.

Yes, and found out I was allergic to it! I ended up going to the hospital with muscle spasms in my neck and having a hard time breathing. It did work well for the time I used it though.

Thanks for your reply. I hope I'm not allergic to it, as I am allergic to aspirin and penicillin. I did an internet search and some of the side-effects can include twitching of the face, etc. Ugh! Most drugs have a lot of side-effects however.

I'm hoping to get more responses on how this drug has worked to helped people. Picking up the prescription today.
