Lightheaded and dizzy after eating

I figure this might be the most appropriate place for this question. I have been having an issue lately where I get lightheaded and dizzy sometimes after eating. Usually after breakfast and lunch but not after supper.
Its weird. What are some of the things that might cause something like this?

Are you ingesting any aspartame or synthetic sweeteners with these meals? If so, that could be the cause. It can make you have these low blood sugar type symptoms.

Re: Lightheaded and dizzy after eating

Could be a food allergy/intollerance. Some people with Celiac diasease have the symptoms you mentioned. I had the same symptoms after I had my GB removed and when I told my dr. the first things he tested me for was Celiac disease, diabetes and hypoglycemia. All came back negative and I never did figure out the cause. I still experience the dizziness after eating every now and then but can not pinpoint any one thing that would be causing it. If you do find out, post the results. I would be curious to know!

Re: Lightheaded and dizzy after eating

Hey,
I just thought I send you a quick note because I have been having the same issue and I am just wondering if you have figured out why yet? I would like to know. It has been getting really annoying and the doctors dont know why either.

Thanks,
Charles

Re: Lightheaded and dizzy after eating

I also experience the same thing after eating, but in my case, it is also followed by a feeling of pressure in my head and sometimes a headache.
