Hello, I'm a returning newbie, Been dealing w/ bowel changes, food sensitiveities like lactose intolerant, citrus, sugars & just discovered wheat probs. Yet hungrer could not be satisfied,Tried to manage a uti infection w/ diluted cranberry juice & plenty fluids. Couldn't bowel movement starting Jan. tried prunes & prune juice, oat meal, fleet, suppositories, everything could think of to help but so sluggish & very embarrassing! Then was losing appetite lost weight, finally tell Dr. who perscribed assorted laxatives, still to no avail did it help. Dr.- blood in the hemmocult. scheduled for colonoscopy, Let me tell you the prep is worse, saw what look like coffee grinds along the edge of the crap in the commode (looking for a better word.) The colonoscopy was incomplete seems they couldn't get to the other side due to twist & turns of the colon. Next schedule barium enema, again the prep for it is the worse only liquids 2 days, I was starving but what I saw in the commode for lack of a nicer word, looked like little pepples alot of them! & my july 4 th salad, nuts, , oatmeal all this undigested foods were not breaking down & I ate every day for lunch crunchy P.nut butter sands on whole grain bread, chips not garbage ones forced vegs grapes, even ate 1/4 watermelon on a hot day then for about 4 days it tasted good. I presented Dr. w/ left kidney pain & urine too frequently looked like clear soda pop fizzing. he perscribe probiotic saying something will balance out the good & bad bacteria in the gut etc. Blood tested - over abundance of wbc in relation to red blood cell count. red blood cell spilling in urine. I Did the barium where they said check out normal, now Dr. suggest endo scope camera down the throat, & also kidney function test to be done. It's only been a couple days since barium & My bowels seeming getting towards normal as I haven't seen or done for along time,although chalky look as I was told they would appear. Dr. says come in let's dicuss this more look in to nutrition, I lost 17 lbs. in 5 months & I'm already petite there are preteens weigh more than me, I don't know what I'm going to do or what direction to go w/ this I did decide to stay on probiotic refills 11 more. I 'm confused: don't want to be golden yet I'm just 50! Opinions suggestions Please!
