Someone pease help me get well . . .

Every moment of every day, I endure these symptoms without any hope of relief:

. . . (Eating brings on ALL of these symptoms FULL FORCE - 10 x WORSE!) . . .

HEAD SYMPTOMS ARE THE WORST:

Dizziness
Fullness
Pressure
Throbbing
Feeling as if my head will colapse
Feeling as if my head will explode
Unexplainable, severely debilitating vertigo
Feeling as if my head is full of poison
Unable to hold my head up without support
Difficult to move my head
Difficult to move my eyes

Eye Symptoms:

Twitching
Unable to keep eyes closed
Different/pressured dizziness when move eyes up/down/side to side
See spots/green outlines always
Unable to focus
Cannot see straight

Other Symptoms:

Shakiness
Involentary muscle spasms (as if there is an earthquake)
Tingling in hands
Burning of every muscle in my body
Burning arms (on the inside, not the outside)
Burning face (on the inside, not the outside)
Depression/suicidal thoughts/loss of hope of EVER getting well

Digestive Symptoms:

IF I get the courage to eat . . .

Severe Bloating
Flatulence
Cramping
Pain
Chest pain
Severe Constipation (6 months at a time. Not kidding!)
Very tired

SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL ME WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME!!! Am I the first person in the whole world to have this "disease"???!!! Why don't any doctors know anything!!!???

. . . I'm tired of living this way. I don't know how much longer I can hold on. My life has been robbed from me. Someone pease help me get well . . . please . . . I need to get well . . . I can't live like this anymore. Please . . .

Re: Someone pease help me get well . . .

Hi Diz--I know this is easy for me to say, but DO NOT DESPAIR!!! THERE IS AN ANSWER TO THIS!!!!! You could have a bunch of different sensitivities that make you feel like a one-man band!!! Have you contacted a good allergist?? A good gastroenterologist?? Have you had someone go with you to the doctor to validate what you are saying??? Have you contacted a neurologist for the headaches and even had your thyroid or reproductive glands checked?? It's wrong to say to put all of this in the care of a psychiatrist, but I understand how you feel. I, too, have suffered from depression, but once i was trying to quit the last two addictive chemicals over the past 6 or 7 years(caffeine and nicotine) and stop my anti-depressants for a bit, all the things that were wrong with me came to the forefront because they were not being buried under layers of chemicals. I systematically wrote down every symptom just like you did and first took it to my allergist who has saved my sanity on many occasions. They have found that I am allergic/sensitive to food dyes, food additives, foods with natural histamine, etc. and the more that I worked on those things, the less headaches, stomach aches, nausea, anxiety and depression I had. God bless the allergist. Next came the indigestion and hives. I just found out the other day it's my gall bladder not working and I'm sure the poisonous bile is backing up in me so that issue is next. Each issue was validated and I believe every word you say. You are not losing your mind! I don't know if you believe in God, but I will say a prayer to Him that you find a small amount of comfort this weekend and week and have strength to be able to put one foot in front of the other to make even one call to the right doctor. God bless and take care & write again if you need to--Hopeto--

Unhappy Re: Someone pease help me get well . . .

I have a follow up with the allergist on Monday. How do you figure out if you're allergic to food dyes, food additives, foods with natural histamine, etc? Is that something they normally test for or someting you have to request?

I have had a Neurologist do an MRI . . . negative.

I have seen a Gateronologist with all negative results from colonoscopy, ERG, and biopsies . . . I am persuing a 2nd opinion from a new GI doc.

I am seeing an Endocrinologist for the first time this week.

I have seen several other specialists.

I'm at the end of my rope. I don't want to hear that there is "nothing wrong with me" anymore. There IS something wrong with me; VERY wrong. And if it's not found soon . . . I just don't have much hope left. It's been too long. I can't live like this.

I do believe in God. He is the only reason (and my daughter) that I havn't "offed" myself already.

Re: Someone pease help me get well . . .

I quit smoking (after 6 years), quit drinking, and got off birth control . . . all 2 months before my symptoms hit full force. I wonder if there is a corralation. Even if there were, it's not like some idiot doctor would know . . .

Re: Someone pease help me get well . . .

Have you had a glucose tolerance test done to check for diabetes? Is diabetes in your family?

The stomach can create a lot of havoc with the rest of the body, so getting the proper treatment for it might very well eliminate some of those symptoms.

If you have parasites in the intestines, you could be having malabsorption of nutrients.

I wish you well,

Ish
