I've had crampy, achy abdominal pain for three days in top upper abdomen - rotates really which side is worse. It feel sore when touching sometimes in middle of breast bone . . .but nothing that makes me cringe. I feel a little better than yesterday today. I've also had excessive gas, bloating and bms. I called the doc and he said there wasn't any need to go to the er unless I just got really really sick. He also said to give it a few days before coming in to see if it subsided.
Can most digestive things be diagnosed by blood tests? Also - can indigestion or prolonged constipation cause these symptoms? If symptoms subside is it ok to wait like he said and see if they happen again?
