weird stuff comes out...

It seems sometimes after I eat something I need to use the restroom to take a "number 2". Even if I eat something as small as a loaf of bread, I'd have to go. The poo isn't solid. It's runny and neon colored. It looks like flat seaweed or something. But other times, I am fine. I have this problem since I was little. What could this be and how do I fix it?
