Stomach ulcers and anti infammatory's

Hi guys,
am new to this board...lots of helpful information around here.
I was taking Ibuprofen for tennis elbow and after 2 weeks of taking them my stomach is completely messed up..i have bloating, gas, discomfort and loose stools...i was given lanzaprazole and have been on them 3 weeks now..they actually churn my stomach. How long do ulcers take to heal on these meds and are these symptoms normal for ulcers?
Thanks in advance.

No, those symptoms are not typical of stomach ulcers--that's usually a burning pain on the upper left part of the abdomen.

What do you mean by "churn your stomach?" The lanaprazole?

Are you getting any better?

Hi Jane,
the lanzaprazole seems to leave my stomach rumbling most of the day...i was good for 2 days now gone back to the smae gnawing discomfort..i know i am quite stressed at work and maybe that adds to it all.
