burning, gnawing pain below sternum. any ideas? please help!

I have had a burning, gnawing pain below my sternum for 8 months now and it is always relieved by eating. I have several attacks every day and haven't had 1 day without relief since april. i suffer with nausea and so it is difficult to keep weight on as i can't always eat. i have lost 101bs in weight and now weigh 7 stone and i am only 5 ft 4". I have gallstones but the doctors don't think that this is what is causing the pain. I have had a ph balance test and my acid levels are normal. my endoscopy showed no sign of an ulcer. does anyone have any ideas? i am getting no feedback from the hospital. they seem to be at a loss as to what is wrong? they have offered to remove my gallbladder but there is only 65-70% chance of improvement. please help! if anyone has any ideas i would appreciate the advice.
