I've been only taking the three in the title for the last three days and I am seriously nauseous. My stomach also feels very very sour/sick, on top of the original problem of cramping and back aches. I'm taking 2 tsp benefiber 3x/day, 1 dose of miralax and the hyoscyamine 2x/day. I wasn't completely constipated, going a little at a time but I can't seem to empty so the gastro suggested the above. My stools are very soft now (they were never hard), still only getting out a little at a time (pencil thin) and going about once an hour for half the day, then a couple times late afternoon/evening. I feel like I'll never empty or feel better. I also have no appetite (didn't before the nausea) and I'm eating very little. Lost another 5 lbs since Monday. FYI if you haven't followed, had my gallbladder removed 3 weeks ago.

Experiences, suggestions.. anything? Ugh.
Hi Zoegirl,
I wish I had more experience and wisdom to offer, but I just want to say that I'm sorry you're suffering!! Do your docs have any idea why any of this is happening? Do they think it's part of the gb recovery, or part of Crohn's? That's very frustrating about your stools given that you're taking fiber. I was given Hysocyamine a few months back, and it seemed to do nothing for me. Did the docs say how it's supposed to help you under these circumstances? I hope that you are continuing, if possible, to seek answers from your docs. Have they put you on new meds for Crohn's? I know you said that your meds had stopped working; I wonder if the combination of Crohn's and your body's recovery from gb surgery is making things tougher. People keep saying that recovery from gb surgery can take 1-2 months; hopefully you'll be feeling better soon. I can sympathize with the feeling that nothing is working the way it should be. My digestive issues are very new to me (no problems before February of this year) and I must say, there's nothing worse than dealing with this. I'd give anything to not be dealing with what I've dealt with. You are certainly not alone. I hope some of the others out there will have some suggestions and advice for you. These boards are good for that. You deserve to have peace of mind and a body that functions in a way that doesn't limit you, as do we all!
Thank you for your kind words. They are more helpful than you realize. They don't think it's Crohn's because the blood work didn't show any markers. I get a small bowel series on Friday but you know, I figure it will come back as normal
I'm pretty sure it was the Miralax that started the nausea, I didn't really have any before. I stopped taking everything yesterday but I'll take the Hysocyamine today. (The Hysocyamine was prescribed to stop the cramping.) I want to call them too and see if I can get some of those anti-nausea pills. Then maybe I can at least eat. People around me see a visible difference in my size. People who know I'm sick ask me if I'm OK and people who don't tell me I look great. haha
