stomach pains after gb removal. how long
had gb removed by keyhole 4 weeks ago. am still getting pain all the time. it can be anywhere in my stomach but mainly behind my ribcage on both left and right side, and also low down at bottom of my stomach. am starting to get very fed up now. can anyone tell me if this is normal and if so how long will it go on for. it doesn't seem to be food related. is it also normal to have up to 4 bm a day after gb is gone

Just had my GB removed 2 weeks ago. I as well am experiencing pain on my right side and lower stomach. Went back for follow up with surgeoon and he explained that it can take about 2-3 months for the pain to subside. It is better than before but still pain is pain. He explained that what I am feeling is scar tissue. I was worried because it did not seem food related as before. Hope this helps!!!!!
