Re: acid reflux in lungs

Very simple - it's refluxing up to the throat.

Once at the throat level, it has a chance to splash into the tracheal opening and thus, get into the lungs.

Re: acid reflux in lungs

I've had this happen on several occasions, I'll wake up and feel like I can't get a good breath, etc..

Make sure you keep "comfortably" propped up at night, and don't eat anything for 2-3 hours before lying down...

I would definitely see a doctor about this, because this can cause more problems down the road... Good luck and hope you get better!..
