I have been getting stomach pain on and off for quite some time. had a colonostopy and a egd done last week

I had a colon polyp removed. The Dr. said he saw a very small area in my stomach that he could not determine whether it was inflammation or a ulcer startng. He also said there was a tiny bit of blood there. Is this normal to find with inflammation or a ulcer?

I get a lot of bloating, sharp shooting pains that start at the low ribs go up toward the breast or acrossd my lower rib cage. Get severe stomach pain at times. Last week I ate pizza and had cake with chocloate icing, no probem. Today we were shopping and stopped at Arby's, had a roast beef sandwch and the pain started but now has subsided. Get some heart burn at times and loads of burping. I was quite surprised that i did not have a hernia or acid reflux.

I do have IBS and fibromyalgia nd diverticulous.
I took the go lightly for the prep and about two hours later was vomitting violently. Could this have caused this area?

I see the gastro in a week and he said we will talk meds. What meds have the fewest side effects?

The blood has me quite frightened although the Dr. said there is no cancer.
