I have been having paing on my right side below my ribs. Occasionally, it also hurts on my left side. I was also diagnosed with a bladder infection and I am on my second round of antibiotics to get rid of it. The pain comes and goes. It isn't sever, just annoying and isn't supposed to be there. I have had blood work done reccently and the only problem that showed was up that my cholesterol was slightly elevated.

I have a pain mainly on my right side also. I do feel pain on my left side but less frequently. The pain is also in the middle of my upper stomach. Nine days ago I threw up (once). Ever since then my stomach has felt this way. I am able to function but I'm getting very depressed because of the way I feel. I tried some over the counter medications but I still feel the same. I also belch frequently. Even if I have a cup of tea, I end up belching. Something is not right. I am not sure if I shoud go to the doctor or if I should give it more time. What did your doctor associate the pain with? It wasn't part of the bladder infection, was it?

I finally went to my doctor's today. I can't stand the constant nagging pain, the nausea, and the belching. I am having blood work done and I am going for an ultrasound also. Nothing hurt me when my stomach was pressed and nothing was enlarged. I have to wait for the results to see what course of action will be taken.
