| pain in my left hand rib
i have a pain in my left hand rib which is going for more than 3 months. it started with a chest infection i got some antibiotics for that but the chest infection is still there and now i got this pain as well. the chest infection it doesnt bother me as much as this uncofortable pain in the rib which is very bad when i sit, feels a bit better when i lay down and when i walk i dont feel it much. i went to c the docter again and she said is because of pregnancy because your ribs are excpanding in order for baby to fit but i dont think is so because the pain has been there for long time and is not both sides is in one place only and recently is moving in colons direction. some one told me that was because of traped water in ribs could u please help me because i m really worried and i dont want to keep taking antibiotics because that is bad for baby
